Our Program

Infants

We provide developmentally appropriate toys, discovery and art experiences for our infants. We read stories, sing songs, listen to music and have tummy time with toys. Each infant’s needs are met according to their own schedules.

2’s & 3’s

Our daily program is flexible and varied but we do however try to maintain a regular routine for the child to achieve security from knowing what to expect. Our activities balance both individual and group activities, active and quiet sessions as well as indoor and outdoor play. All these activities are provided and catered to the child’s developing stages and needs.

Pre-K’s

For the Pre-K’s our daily program varies but more structured in its activities. Our activities depends more on group work that teaches kindergarten readiness skills. We focus on promoting independence, social aptitude, self-discipline skills as well as writing, discovery and pre-math skills. All these activities are provided and catered to the child’s developing stages and needs.

Curriculum

The Funshine Express curriculum is a comprehensive program for children 9 months-5 years of age. It provides open-ended and hands-on activities that addresses the needs of all our children; socially, physically, emotionally, and cognitively. The curriculum stimulates thinking, reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving. Funshine Express actively engages children and supports different learning styles, maturity, and interests, in addition it has an integrated, on-going observation and assessment system. Funshine curriculum meets educational standards being implemented throughout the United States.
